Home (Boardwalk Empire)
"Home" is the seventh episode of the first season of HBO's crime drama ''Boardwalk Empire''. The episode aired on October 31, 2010. The episode was written by executive producer Tim Van Patten and Paul Simms and directed by Allen Coulter. The episode focuses on Nucky as he deals with unpleasant memories of his abusive father. Jimmy brings a fellow veteran into his crime family, while Luciano and a friend cut a deal with the D'Alessio brothers as they move to expand into Atlantic City. Plot In Chicago, Jimmy learns from Capone that Liam, the Irish mobster who disfigured Pearl, regularly eats breakfast at the same restaurant. ''Boardwalk Empire'' is an American period crime drama television series created by Terence Winter and broadcast on the premium cable channel HBO. The series is set chiefly in Atlantic City, New Jersey, during the Prohibition era of the 1920s and stars Steve Buscemi as Nucky Thompson. Winter, a Primetime Emmy Award-winning screenwriter and producer, created the show, inspired by Nelson Johnson's 2002 non-fiction book ''Boardwalk Empire: The Birth, High Times, and Corruption of Atlantic City'', about the historical criminal kingpin Enoch L. Richard Harrow
Richard Harrow is a fictional character on the television series ''Boardwalk Empire'', played by the actor Jack Huston. Fictional biography Backstory Richard was a sharpshooter in the US Army during World War I. He was badly disfigured during the war, losing his eye, upper jaw and most of the cheekbone on the left side of his face. He has also suffered some throat damage which causes him to speak in a low, muffled voice. Because of his appearance, Harrow wears a tin mask in public that is molded to mirror the intact right side of his face. After the war he returned to Plover, Wisconsin where his twin sister, Emma (Katherine Waterston), cared for him while his wounds healed. Arnold Rothstein (January 17, 1882 – November 4, 1928), nicknamed "The Brain", was an American racketeer, crime boss, businessman, and gambler in New York City. Rum-running or bootlegging is the illegal business of smuggling alcoholic beverages where such transportation is forbidden by law. Nucky Thompson
