''Home'' is a live album by American metalcore band August Burns Red released through Solid State Records in a CD/DVD format. It was filmed live on June 4, 2010, at Warehouse 54 in Manheim, Pennsylvania and was released on September 28, 2010, through Solid State Records. During the performance, August Burns Red played different songs from their previous albums. The performance featured many fan favorites from the band's three full-length albums, ''Constellations'', 2007's '' Messengers'' and 2005's ''Thrill Seeker''. The show drew a sold-out crowd of 1250 people who wanted to participate in the performance, including some who traveled internationally, from as close as Montreal to as far as away as Amsterdam."Solid State Records , August Burns Red, Home"

August Burns Red is an American metalcore band from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, formed in 2003. The band's current lineup consists of lead guitarist John Benjamin "JB" Brubaker, rhythm guitarist Brent Rambler, drummer Matt Greiner, lead vocalist Jake Luhrs and bassist Dustin Davidson. The band was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2016 for Best Metal Performance for the song "Identity" from its 2015 release ''Found in Far Away Places'', and again in 2018 for "Invisible Enemy" from ''Phantom Anthem'' (2017). The band has released nine studio albums to date; their latest, ''Guardians'', was released on April 3, 2020. Manheim, Pennsylvania
Manheim is a borough in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 5,064 at the 2020 census. The borough was named after Kerpen- Manheim, Germany. History Manheim was laid out by Henry William Stiegel in 1762 on a land tract in Rapho Township, though it wasn't incorporated until 1838. He set out to build an industrial empire and founded the Manheim Glassworks. After financial failure, he was forced to sell the development in 1775. After several failed attempts at resurrecting the glassworks, it closed in 1780. The first railroad train came into Manheim on January 1, 1862, with the completion of the first division of the Columbia and Reading Railroad. In 1884, another forward step was the laying of water pipes and the beginning of service by the Manheim Electric Company, which set up a plant in Bomberger's Mill at the end of Mill Street. ''Constellations'' is the third studio album by American metalcore band August Burns Red. It was released on July 14, 2009, through Solid State Records and was produced by Jason Suecof. Composition Influences, style and themes The song "Indonesia", which features guest vocals from Tommy Giles Rogers of Between the Buried and Me, was made as a tribute to David Clapper, a missionary who died in a plane crash in Indonesia. He lived in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the city in which August Burns Red began. Some tracks from the album are featured in the rhythm game, '' Rock Band 2'', via the Rock Band Network. ''Leveler'' is the fourth studio album by American metalcore band August Burns Red. It was released on June 21, 2011, through Solid State Records and was produced by Jason Suecof. Release and promotion They released the first song, "Empire", on May 16, 2011 on their Facebook page. It was announced on May 14, 2011 that they were shooting a video for "Internal Cannon". Metalcore
Metalcore (also known as metallic hardcore) is a fusion music genre that combines elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk. ''Messengers'' is the second studio album by American metalcore band August Burns Red. It was released on June 19, 2007, through Solid State Records and was produced by the band themselves and Tue Madsen. It is their first release with vocalist Jake Luhrs and bass player Dustin Davidson. It sold 9,000 copies in its first week on sale, and went on to sell over 80,000. Background A video for the song "Composure" was recorded and was released as a single on September 6, 2007. Jake Luhrs
William Jacob "Jake" Luhrs is an American musician best known as the lead vocalist of American metalcore band August Burns Red. Background Luhrs first entered the music scene in Columbia, South Carolina where he was the frontman for a band known as She Walks In Beauty. The band released two EPs on which Luhrs was featured but eventually disbanded. After vocalist Josh McManness left, Luhrs got in touch with August Burns Red through Myspace which started his career with the band. Luhrs has performed on all the ABR albums except 2005's ''Thrill Seeker'' and 2003's ''Looks Fragile After All''. Luhrs has performed both studio and live guest vocal spots for bands such as Pierce the Veil, Blessthefall, and For Today. Luhrs runs a charity called Heart Support. Matt Greiner
Matt Greiner, born Matthew Wilson Greiner, is an American metalcore drummer. He's most well known as a founding member for the band August Burns Red. Greiner was homeschooled as a child. Greiner cofounded the drum company ''Greiner&Kilmer'' with fellow drummer Kaleb Kilmer, which they founded in 2012. Greiner is an outspoken Christian. While Greiner is best known for his drumming, he also plays the piano. History In 2003, Matt Greiner started his musical career. JB Brubaker (lead guitar) hired Greiner, Jon Hershey (vocals), Brent Rambler (rhythm guitar) and Jordan Tuscan (bass) to help form the band August Burns Red.
