Holy Ship!
Holy Ship! Is an annual electronic dance music festival previously held aboard a 4,000+ capacity cruise ship, with two back to back sailings leaving out of Port Canaveral, FL with stops in the Bahamas originally set up by Destructo and eventually absolved by Insomniac records after infighting. The event was cancelled in 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and ,the organizers were exploring dates late in 2020 or early 2021. The festival returned in January of 2020, at the Hard Rock Resort in Punta Cana, no longer holding the festival on a cruise ship. Itinerary The cruise leaves out of Port Canaveral and travels to the Bahamas, making a stop on a private island for an all-day beach party and then either spending a day at sea or stopping in Nassau, Bahamas prior to arriving back to Cape Canaveral. Robert Swire-Thompson (born 5 November 1982) is an Australian musician, singer, songwriter, record producer and DJ, best known as the founder and vocalist of the drum and bass and electronic rock band Pendulum (drum and bass band), Pendulum, as well as Disc jockey, DJ and co-founder of electro house duo Knife Party formed of Swire and Gareth McGrillen. Harley Edward Streten (born 5 November 1991), known professionally as Flume, is an Australian DJ and music producer. He is regarded as a pioneer of future bass who helped popularise the genre. His self-titled debut studio album, ''Flume'', was released in 2012 to positive reviews, topping the ARIA Albums Chart and reaching double-platinum accreditation in Australia. Sam Vogel, also known by his stage name Jauz ( ), is an American DJ and electronic dance music producer based in San Francisco, United States. He founded his own record label, Bite This, in 2017. Early life Vogel grew up in Northern California. He began playing guitar and producing electronic music on his computer at the age of 15. He went to Icon Collective music production school. ''Norwegian Epic'' is a cruise ship of the Norwegian Cruise Line built under that line's F3 Project by STX Europe Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France. When built she was the List of largest cruise ships, third largest cruise ship in the world. Two ships in this Epic class were ordered by NCL in November 2006, with an option for a third vessel that was not exercised. Derek Vincent Smith (born November 25, 1981), known by his stage name Pretty Lights, is an American electronic music producer. Pretty Lights was originally a music project consisting of Smith and Michal Menert, who left after the release of their first album. Norman Quentin Cook (born Quentin Leo Cook, 31 July 1963), also known by his stage name Fatboy Slim, is an English musician, DJ, and record producer who helped to popularise the big beat genre in the 1990s.
