The ''Holocaust on your Plate'' was an exhibition mounted by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) in 2003. The Holocaust, also known as the Shoah, was the genocide of European Jews during World War II. Abraham Foxman
Abraham Henry Foxman (born May 1, 1940) is an American lawyer and activist. He served as the national director of the Anti-Defamation League from 1987 to 2015, and is currently the League's national director emeritus. From 2016 to 2021 he served as vice chair of the board of trustees at the Museum of Jewish Heritage in New York City in order to lead its efforts on antisemitism. Chutzpah () is the quality of audacity, for good or for bad. It derives from the Hebrew word ' (), meaning "insolence", "cheek" or "audacity". Paul Spiegel (31 December 1937, in Warendorf, Germany – 30 April 2006, in Düsseldorf, Germany) was leader of the Central Council of Jews in Germany (Zentralrat der Juden in Deutschland) and the main spokesman of the German Jews. Holocaust Analogy In Animal Rights
Several individuals and groups have drawn direct comparisons between animal cruelty and the Holocaust.
