Hollow Press
Hollow Press is an independent Italian publishing house, specialized in alternative and experimental comics. Created by Michele Nitri in 2015, it stands out for the dark fantasy and macabre style of its published titles and for the funding method, aimed at the resale of the original tables, all previously purchased by Nitri himself. History Hollow Press debuts in the publishing scene in April 2014, when the founder Michele Nitri produces the first volume of U.D.W.F.G., a collection of five serialized stories of five different artists. At the end of October the second volume comes out, with which are launched the action figures of the monstrous protagonists of the stories, sculpted by Marco Navas. A fanzine (blend word, blend of ''fan (person), fan'' and ''magazine'' or ''-zine'') is a non-professional and non-official publication produced by fan (person), enthusiasts of a particular cultural phenomenon (such as a literary or musical genre) for the pleasure of others who share their interest. The term was coined in an October 1940 science fiction fanzine by Russ Chauvenet and first popularized within science fiction fandom, and from there the term was adopted by other communities. The Biologic Show
''The Biologic Show'' is a comic book series written and drawn by Al Columbia. The first issue, #0, was released in October 1994 by Fantagraphics Books, and a second issue, #1, was released the following January. A third issue (#2) was announced in the pages of other Fantagraphics publications and solicited in '' Previews'' but was never published. "I Was Killing When Killing Wasn't Cool", a color short story with a markedly different art style originally intended for issue #2, appeared instead in the anthology '' Zero Zero''. In a 2010 interview, Columbia recalled that the unfinished issue "looked so different that it just didn’t look right, it didn’t look consistent, and it didn’t feel right to keep putting out that same comic book, to try to tell a story where the style is mutating." Al Columbia (born 1970) is an American artist known for his horror and black humor-themed alternative comics. His published works include the comic book series ''The Biologic Show'', the graphic novel/art book '' Pim & Francie: The Golden Bear Days'', and short stories such as "I Was Killing When Killing Wasn't Cool" and " The Trumpets They Play!". He also works in other media including painting, illustration, printmaking, photography, music, and film. Saturn is the sixth planet from the Sun and the second-largest in the Solar System, after Jupiter. It is a gas giant with an average radius of about nine and a half times that of Earth. It has only one-eighth the average density of Earth; however, with its larger volume, Saturn is over 95 times more massive. Miguel Ángel Martín (born 1960 in León) is a Spanish comic author and artist. He won the Best New Artist award at the 1992 Barcelona International Comic Fair. Martín is the author of the controversial comic ''Psychopathia Sexualis'' (which was banned in Italy).
