Hoby Brenner
Hoby F. J. Brenner (born June 2, 1959) is a former American football tight end who played professionally in the National Football League (NFL) for the New Orleans Saints. High school career Brenner prepped at Fullerton Union High School. His teammate at Fullerton Union High was future NFL player Keith Van Horne of the Chicago Bears. College career Brenner played college football at the University of Southern California (USC) was a selection on the 1980 All-Pacific-10 Conference football team. Professional career Brenner played for the New Orleans Saints between 1981 and 1993. Tight End
The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. On the other hand, unlike offensive linemen, they are eligible receivers adept enough to warrant a defense's attention when running pass patterns. Because of the hybrid nature of the position, the tight end's role in any given offense depends on the tactical preferences and philosophy of the head coach as well as overall team dynamic. In some systems, the tight end will merely act as a sixth offensive lineman, rarely going out for passes. Keith Van Horne
Keith Van Horne (born November 6, 1957) is an American former professional American football, football player who was an offensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL) for 13 seasons during the 1980s and 1990s. He played college football for the University of Southern California and earned College Football All-American, All-American honors. Van Horne was selected in the first round of the 1981 NFL Draft, and played professionally for the NFL's Chicago Bears. Early years Van Horne was born in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania. The Chicago Bears are a professional American football team based in Chicago. The Bears compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league's National Football Conference (NFC) North division.
