hit100.9 Hobart (call sign: 7TTT) is commercial FM radio station owned and operated by Southern Cross Austereo's Hit Network based in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. Station history hit100.9 previously ''100.9 Sea FM'', began as ''Triple T'' in 1990. The station was started by local Hobart businessman John Bender who obtained financial support from a number of Hobart business people, radio industry veterans including now Newcastle-based long time radio host Carol Duncan, and a minority interest by Austereo. As a result, the station was originally aligned with the Austereo network affiliate. This meant, during the Triple T years, the station scheduled Austereo programming, such as Martin/Molloy, Take 40 Australia, ''Ugly Phil's Hot 30'', ''Friday Home Free'', Dr Feelgood's ''Pillow Talk'', ''The Hot Hits'' and ''Party Hard''. Triple M Perth (official callsign: 6MMM) is a commercial radio station owned and operated by Southern Cross Austereo as part of the Triple M network. The station is broadcast to Perth, Western Australia from studios in Subiaco. The station commenced broadcasting in 1937 as 6PM, initially on the AM band at a frequency of 1000 kilohertz, before converting to the FM band as 6PM-FM on 31 December 1990. Fox FM (call sign: 3FOX) is a commercial FM radio station broadcasting in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, on a frequency of 101.9 MHz, and is the flagship station on Southern Cross Austereo's Hit Network. ''Take 40 Australia'' was Australia's first and longest-running music countdown. It counted down the official top 40 singles on the ARIA chart on a weekly basis. It was broadcast nationally each week to over 1.2 million listeners. Starting in 1984, the show ended after 32 years with its final broadcast on Saturday 3 September 2016. ''Martin/Molloy'' was an Australian radio program starring Tony Martin and Mick Molloy, both formerly of ''The D-Generation'' and ''The Late Show''. It was broadcast nationwide on 54 radio stations for two hours on weekday evenings between 1995 and 1998.
