Hissatsu Shiokinin
is a Japanese television ''jidaigeki'' or period drama that was broadcast in 1973. It is the 2nd in the Hissatsu series. Hissatsu Shiokinin is one of the most popular ''jidaigeki'' dramas in Japan. Plot A group of common merchants in Edo city(Tokyo) in the mid-1800s is really a band of assassins available for hire. Each assassin has his own unique killing style. Jidaigeki
is a genre of film, television, video game, and theatre in Japan. Literally meaning "period dramas", they are most often set during the Edo period of Japanese history, from 1603 to 1868. Shin Hissatsu Shiokinin
is a Japanese jidaigeki or period television drama. It is the tenth in the Hissatsu series. The drama is a sequel to Hissatsu Shiokinin. Shin Hissatsu Shiokinin is one of the most popular Jidaigeki dramas in Japan. Former professional Baseball player Fumio Fujimura made his first appearance as an actor. Plot In the final episode of ''Hissatsu Shiokinin'', Nenbutsu no Tetsu left Edo but he returned and became a member of Tora no kai. One day he is surprised that Nakamura Mondo's name was mentioned and that he was targeted for murder in Tora no kai. Tetsu breaks the rule of Tora no kai and helps Mondo. Tetsu and Mondo reunite for the first time in four years. They start killing villains again under the rule of Tora no Kai. Hissatsu Shiokiya Kagyō
is a Japanese television ''jidaigeki'' or period drama that was broadcast in 1975–1976. It is the 6th in the Hissatsu series. Kenji Misumi was hospitalized while directing episode 13 where he later died. Plot Nakamura Mondo retired from professional killer's job but a woman(Okō) suddenly visits Mondo and urges him to withdraw his retirement. He refuses once but he finally decides to come back from his retirement. Mondo coincidentally witnessed murder during his patrol. The man who committed murder was a lonely assassin, Ichimatsu. Ichimatsu is a bamboo craftsman but he is also a professional killer. Ichimatsu thought of killing Mondo because he was witnessed his murder by Mondo. Tasukenin Hashiru
is a Japanese television ''jidaigeki'' or period drama, that was broadcast in 1973–1974. It is the third in the ''Hissatsu'' series and is based on Saga Sen's ''Seibei-ryū Gokui''. Plot Seibie used to be a famous bandit. Now Seibie's official job is an employment agency but also he takes charge of killing villains with money. is a Japanese television ''jidaigeki'' or period drama that was broadcast in 1972–1973. It was the first in the Hissatsu series and is based on Shōtarō Ikenami's novel ''Shiokinin Fujieda Baian''. Koreyoshi Kurahara
(31 May 1927 – 28 December 2002) was a Japanese screenwriter and director. He is perhaps best known for directing ''Antarctica'' (1983), which won several awards and was entered into the 34th Berlin International Film Festival. Hideo Takamatsu
was a Japanese actor from Nankoku, Kōchi Prefecture. Takamatsu appeared in more than 120 films between 1948 and 2007. Profile In 1951, he signed his contract with Daiei film company. Two years later, Takamatsu made his film debut with ''Ikare Sanppie'', playing the role of lover of the main character played by Ayako Wakao. He was highly praised for his performance in such films as ''Giants and Toys'', ''The Black Report'' and ''The Graceful Brute'' and became a well-reputed supporting actor. In 1962, he left Daiei and became a freelance actor. He won TV Guide Best Performer Award for his role in the Asadora series ''Kumo no jūtan'' in 1976.
