''His Life's Match'' (Swedish: ''Hans livs match'') is a 1932 Swedish comedy film directed by Per-Axel Branner and starring Georg Blomstedt, Björn Berglund and Sigurd Wallén.Qvist & von Bagh p.150 The film's sets were designed by the art director Arne Åkermark Arne Åkermark (1902–1962) was a Swedish art director who worked on around a hundred and eighty films during a thirty-year career. Sven Jerring
Sven Alfred Teodor Jerring, (born ''Jonsson'', 8 December 1895 – 27 April 1979) was a Swedish radio man who during almost 50 years worked as a presenter, sports journalist and commentator at the national Swedish broadcasting company AB Radiotjänst, in the mid-fifties renamed to Sveriges Radio. He was married from 1929 to 1937 to book illustrator Yvonne Millde, and from 1972 until his death to nurse Barbro Wessel (1920–2007). He was the brother of actor and director Nils Jerring. Jerring was born in Malung, Sweden, but the family moved a lot during his childhood. When he turned eleven the family moved to Vadstena, Sweden. The young Jerring has been described as a silent reclusive person that mostly liked to play. When he got older he graduated and did military service. Knut Gunnar Johanson (13 November 1909 – 24 May 1986) was a Swedish actor known for his frequent work with writer and director Ingmar Bergman. Biography Björnstrand was born Knut Gunnar Johanson in Stockholm as son of actor Oscar Johanson and Ella Mauléon. After his education at the Royal Dramatic Theatre's acting school, he made several appearances in theatre, film and radio. Björnstrand's first collaboration with Ingmar Bergman was the 1941 theatre production of August Strindberg's ''The Ghost Sonata''. His first major film role was in Hampe Faustman's ''Natt i hamn'' in 1943. After signing a contract with Svensk Filmindustri, he was offered mainly parts in comedies, including Bergman's ''Smiles of a Summer Night'' (1955).
