His Last Walk
''His Last Walk'' is the debut studio album by American metalcore band Blessthefall. The album was released on April 10, 2007. It is the only studio album by the band to feature original vocalist Craig Mabbitt, who would later be replaced by Beau Bokan. The album was released before Blessthefall started to play on the Taste of Chaos tour. The last song, "His Last Walk", features a hidden track called "Purple Dog", which is a joke song made by the band members in which all members sing the song and clap their hands. The album was re-released through Ferret Music, featuring an acoustic version of "Rise Up" and "I Wouldn't Quit If Everyone Quit" as bonus tracks, the latter of which was previously released as a stand-alone single. Blessthefall (stylized as blessthefall or BLESSTHEFALL prior to 2013) was an American metalcore band from Phoenix, Arizona, signed to Rise Records. The band was founded in 2004 by guitarist Mike Frisby, drummer Matt Traynor, and bassist and vocalist Jared Warth. Their debut studio album, '' His Last Walk'', with original vocalist Craig Mabbitt, was released April 10, 2007. Matt Traynor
Matthew James Traynor is an American musician that primarily performs metalcore, and best known for being the former drummer of the metalcore band Blessthefall from its formation in 2004 until his departure in 2018. He is originally from Massapequa, New York, but moved to Phoenix, Arizona and eventually helped form Blessthefall. Background Traynor has been playing drums since 2000. Traynor started his musical career with bassist Jared Warth and guitarist Mike Frisby in 2002. The trio formed the band and hired vocalist Craig Mabbitt in early 2004. Taste Of Chaos
Taste of Chaos (or "TOC") was a live music tour that was started in the winter of 2005 by Kevin Lyman, the creator of the successful Warped Tour along with his friend and business partner, John Reese. The Taste Of Chaos tour catered to fans of the post-hardcore, emo, pop punk and metalcore genres, while offering the same low ticket price and festival-style format as the Warped Tour. In 2007, each of the seven bands playing the entire tour was a Warped Tour veteran: five had played the 2006 Warped Tour and two (The Used and Saosin) had played TOC previously.
