Hiroyuki Nishimoto
was a Japanese actor and voice actor. He began acting in the theatre company Bungakuza and later co-founded Gekidan Kumo (劇団雲 "Cloud Theatre Company") in 1963. Nishimoto then joined Theatre Company Subaru in 1976. He provided the voice of Snufkin in the television adaptions of ''Moomin'', a book series and comic strip by Tove Jansson. Nishimoto was also known for dubbing the Japanese language versions of many Disney films. He died of an aortic dissection in 2015, aged 88. , literally ''Roar at the Sun!'', was a long-running prime-time television detective series in Japan, which ran from 1972 to 1986 for a total of 718 episodes. The lead star was Yujiro Ishihara. It also helped further the career of actors such as Yūsaku Matsuda and Kenichi Hagiwara as well as Hiroshi Katsuno and Masaya Oki. It was a police procedural set mostly in a police station. It was one of the most popular and iconic detective dramas in Japanese television history. A sequel was aired from 1986 to 1987, airing for 12 episodes. New Moomin
is the second anime television series adaptation of the Moomin book series by the Finnish illustrator and writer Tove Jansson. It is a remake of the 1969-1970 ''Moomin'' series, which was loosely based on the books. It was produced in 1972 by Zuiyo Eizo and Mushi Production as part of the ''Calpis Comic Theater'' (later known as World Masterpiece Theater) and broadcast on Fuji TV. Production The series was produced as a remake after the 1969-70 series was cancelled after Jansson's complaints about its radical difference from how she wanted the series to be. Neither the series nor its 1969 predecessor broadcast outside Japan except Taiwan, which aired in TTV. Unlike its predecessor, the series was more faithful to the books. is a Japanese tokusatsu superhero television series produced as part of the ''Kamen Rider'' series. The series launched the Metal Hero franchise and was the first installment in the ''Space Sheriff'' series. Plot Earth is invaded by the criminal organization known as Makuu, led by Don Horror, who had first destroyed a space colony near Earth.
