Hiroshi Fujimoto (baseball)
is a Japanese former Nippon Professional Baseball infielder and current manager of the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks. He previously played for the Nankai/Fukuoka Daiei Hawks and the Orix Blue Wave. Early baseball career Fujimoto went on to Tenri High School, where he competed in the 62nd Japanese High School Baseball Championship in the summer of his sophomore year. An infielder is a baseball player stationed at one of four defensive "infield" positions on the baseball field. Standard arrangement of positions In a game of baseball, two teams of nine players take turns playing offensive and defensive roles.
