Hindustan Antibiotics School
Hindustan Antibiotics School (also known as H.A. School) is a secondary school in India. It was formed in 1958 in Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune, India. Admission Admission to H.A. School is based on first-come, first-served basis. Pimpri-area applicants submit their duly filled admission applications for their child or ward in Accounts department by the due date. Shortlisted applicants and their parents are invited for a brief personal interview. Post selection, child or ward begins attending school when the new academic year begins in June. Mid-academic year admissions are accepted on exception basis and may be discussed directly with the Principal or Supervisor of the respective unit (Pre-Primary, Primary or Secondary). Pimpri Chinchwad, Pune is the northwestern city limits of Pune, India. Geographically, it is located at an altitude above sea level, at a distance of about northwest of its historic centre. The neighbourhood is home to extensive industry and is well known for its automotive, IT and manufacturing industry. History The first reference to Pune region is found in two copper plates dated to 758 and 768 AD, issued by Rashtrakuta ruler Krishna I. The plates are called "Puny Vishaya" and "Punaka Vishaya" respectively. The plates mention areas around Pune such as Theur, Uruli, Khed, Dapodi, and also Bhosari, now part of the city. Chinchwad is noted for the shrine of Morya Gosavi, a prominent saint of the Ganapatya denomination of Hinduism that worships Lord Ganesha as the Supreme Being or its metaphysical concept of Brahman. Lal Bahadur Shastri
Lal Bahadur Shastri (; 2 October 1904 – 11 January 1966) was an Indian politician and statesman who served as the 2nd Prime Minister of India from 1964 to 1966 and 6th Home Minister of India from 1961 to 1963. He promoted the White Revolution – a national campaign to increase the production and supply of milk – by supporting the Amul milk co-operative of Anand, Gujarat and creating the National Dairy Development Board. Underlining the need to boost India's food production, Shastri also promoted the Green Revolution in India in 1965. This led to an increase in food grain production, especially in the states of Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Shastri was born to Sharada Prasad Srivastava and Ramdulari Devi in Mughalsarai on 2 October 1904.
