Ahmad Hilmi Of Filibe
Ahmad Hilmi of Filibe (or Ahmet Hilmi) (1865–1914) was a Sufi Turkish language writer and thinker. In Turkish he is usually called ''Şehbenderzâde Filibeli Ahmed Hilmi'' ("Ahmad Hilmi of Plovdiv Son of A Consul"). Being a Sufi, his thoughts were influenced by the Sufi thought, more specifically the wahdat al-wujud, greatly. He also supported the anti-materialistic way of thinking and was a great rival to his materialist contemporary writer and thinkers. Biography He was born in Plovdiv (Filibe), where his father, Süleyman Bey, was a consul. This is where his title ''Şehbenderzâde'', meaning "son of a consul", comes from. He has taken his first education from the religious official (''müftü'') of Plovdiv, until he moved to İzmir with his family. Later he entered Galatasaray Lycee. Mohamed Hilmi (15 February 1931 – 5 January 2022) was an Algerian actor and director. He was the brother of actor Saïd Hilmi. Life and career Hilmi attended his first show, ''Diviser pour régner'', at the age of 10. Süleyman Hilmi Tunahan, (1888 – 16 September 1959), was a 20th-century Islamic scholar born in the small Ottoman village of Ferhatlar, also known aVaratlarand today Delchevo in the Razgrad Province, Bulgaria. Süleyman later became a Sufi Master in the tradition of the Naqshbandi Order. Mustafa Hilmi ef. Hadžiomerović (born 1816 in Kulen Vakuf, near Bihać; died 10 February 1895) was the first Mufti of Sarajevo appointed reis-ul-ulema in 1882 by the Austrian authorities. Career Hadžiomerović received his basic religious and general education in his birth town. He later studied at the high school in Prijedor and then went to the Gazi Husrev-beg Medresa in Sarajevo. There he studied before the famous schoolmaster Mehmed efendija Kučuk and attended lectures in Sarajevo of Mufti Muhamed Šakir efendije Muidović and Muhamed Telalagić. Hüseyin Hilmi Pasha ( ota, حسین حلمی پاشا tr, Hüseyin Hilmi Paşa, also spelled Hussein Hilmi Pasha) (1 April 1855 – 1922) was an Ottoman statesman and imperial administrator. He was twice the Grand Vizier of the Ottoman Empire around the time of the Second Constitutional Era. He was also one-time president of the Turkish Red Crescent.
