Waterbury is a city in the U.S. state of Connecticut on the Naugatuck River, southwest of Hartford and northeast of New York City. Wilby High School (1920 Building)
The Wilby High School is a historic school building at 260 Grove Street in Waterbury, Connecticut. Built in 1917-20, it is one of the oldest surviving secondary school buildings in the city, and a distinctive example of Tudor Gothic architecture. The building served as a school until 1978; the current Wilby High School is located on Bucks Hill Road. This building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. The Benedict-Miller House is a historic house at 32 Hillside Avenue in Waterbury, Connecticut. Built in 1879, it is one of the city's finest surviving examples of Queen Anne architecture, designed by Palliser, Palliser & Co. for one of the city's leading industrialists.
