Hilary Henkin
Hilary Henkin (born November 19, 1952) is an American screenwriter and producer, nominated for both a Golden Globe Award and an Academy Award for her work on the screenplay of ''Wag the Dog'' in 1997. Biography Henkin was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and raised in Memphis, Tennessee and New York City. She attended the University of Lausanne in Switzerland. Given the close relationship between Barry Levinson and David Mamet, who had been hired to rewrite Henkin's screenplay for ''Wag the Dog'' after Levinson became attached as director, New Line Cinema originally asked that Mamet be given sole screenplay credit; but the Writers Guild of America intervened on Henkin's behalf to ensure that Henkin received first-position shared screenplay credit as the original screenwriter and creator of its structure, which she loosely adapted from Larry Beinhart's novel '' American Hero'', as well as much of the story and dialogue. Larry Beinhart
Larry Beinhart is an American author. He is best known as the author of the political and detective novel '' American Hero'', which was adapted into the political-parody film ''Wag the Dog''. Biography An early inspiration was the works of George Bernard Shaw, who besides his writing skills and wit, "created dramas out of ideas". By this dictum, Beinhart seeks to "create situations in which ideas - about God, why we go to war, who gets the money, how politics work, what the media actually does, about science and morality - are challenged by circumstances". Recipient of a Raymond Chandler Fulbright Fellowship in Detective and Crime Fiction Writing, Beinhart spent two years at Wadham College in Oxford, England. ''Prisoners'' is a 1982 American-New Zealand drama film directed by Peter Werner and starring Tatum O'Neal, Colin Friels and David Hemmings. For unclear reasons, the film has never been released. The New Zealand Archive of Film, Television and Sound states that a financial dispute was allegedly the reason for the shelving of the completed film. Blue Heaven (film)
Blue is one of the three primary colours in the RYB colour model (traditional colour theory), as well as in the RGB (additive) colour model. It lies between violet and cyan on the spectrum of visible light. The eye perceives blue when observing light with a dominant wavelength between approximately 450 and 495 nanometres. Most blues contain a slight mixture of other colours; azure contains some green, while ultramarine contains some violet.
