Wisdom, sapience, or sagacity is the ability to contemplate and act using knowledge, experience, understanding, common sense and insight. Bait Al Hikmat
Bait al Hikmat ( ur, Trans. ''House of Wisdom'') is the main academic library at the Hamdard University, Karachi, Pakistan. It opened in December 1989 and is named after the famous library, House of Wisdom, in Baghdad. The library houses over half a million modern volumes as well as thousands of ancient manuscripts, millions of clippings, translations of the Quran in over 60 languages, A.V. Cassettes, as well as Postage Stamps, Coins and Photographs of Hamdard University/Foundation Activities. It is the largest library of Pakistan. Divani-hikmat
Divani-hikmat ("House of Wisdom") was one of the first literary councils of Azerbaijan. It was first held in 1820–1830 in Ganja city. The head of the council was the poet Mirza Shafi Vazeh. In 1841 it was shifted to Tbilisi and he began to operate it in Tbilisi during 1841–1846. At meetings of Divani-hikmat there were Russian, German and other nationalities besides Azerbaijani poets. Until the death of Mirza Shafi (until 1852) "Divani-hikmat" ran in Tbilisi and until the death of Mir Mehdi Naji (until 1882) in Ganja Ganja (, ; ) is one of the oldest and most commonly used synonyms for marijuana. ''Hikmah'' (also ''Hikmat'', ar, حكمة, ', literally wisdom, philosophy; rationale, underlying reason, from Semitic root ) is a concept in Islamic philosophy and law. Mulla Sadra defined ''hikmah'' as "coming to know the essence of beings as they really are" or as "a man's becoming an intellectual world corresponding to the objective world".
