Highway Robbery (Freeway And The Jacka Album)
''Highway Robbery'' is a 2014 collaborative album by rappers Freeway of State Property and The Jacka of the Mob Figaz. It was released on September 16, 2014. The album was preceded by a mixtape entitled ''Write My Wrongs'', released on October 14, 2013, which served as a prequel to the album. Background On September 10, 2013, the pair released a music video for the track "Combine The Coasts" from their upcoming mixtape ''Write My Wrongs''. The release was in anticipation for their album ''Highway Robbery'' announced for a November release, to be preceded by their mixtape release in October. Freeway (rapper)
Leslie Edward Pridgen (born August 6, 1978), better known by his stage name Freeway, is an American rapper from North Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is best known as a member of the rap group State Property, during his time with Roc-A-Fella Records alongside Jay-Z. In 2009, Freeway was briefly signed to Cash Money Records, but returned to work again with Jay-Z at the mogul's entertainment organization and record label, Roc Nation, with his 2018 album ''Think Free''. Sultan Banks (February 26, 1979 – January 2, 2022), better known as Traxamillion, was an American hip hop producer from San Jose, California. He produced records such as Keak da Sneak's "Super Hyphy" and Dem Hoodstarz "Grown Man Remix". His first album, ''The Slapp Addict'', was a compilation of Bay Area hyphy artists and was released August 22, 2006. Hieroglyphics, also known as the Hieroglyphics Crew and Hiero, is an American underground hip hop collective based in Oakland, California. The collective was founded in the early-1990s by rapper Del the Funky Homosapien. Robert Mandell, professionally known as G Koop, is an American Grammy award, Grammy-nominated record producer, songwriter and musician. Early life G Koop is originally from Boston, Massachusetts. His father had a large collection of albums, and his mother contends that G Koop's first word was "doobie," interpreted as a request for The Doobie Brothers to be played. His first job was at a record store. As a young child, he learned to play a number of instruments, including guitar, bass, piano, and drums. G Koop graduated from Berklee College of Music. The Pack was a hip hop group formed in Berkeley, California in 2004. The group consisted of Lil B (Brandon McCartney), Young L (Lloyd Omadhebo), Stunnaman (Keith Jenkins), and Lil Uno (Damonte Johnson).
