Highway H12 (Ukraine)
H12 is an important Ukraine national highway ( H-highway) in Sumy and Poltava Oblasts, Ukraine, running mainly north–south, and connecting Sumy with Poltava in a more or less straight line. It begins in Sumy at Bandera Street ( Highway H07/ Highway P61) and Illinska Street, and travels straight through central Sumy. It passes through Syrovatka, Boromlya, Trostianets, Klymentove, Okhtyrka, Khukhra, Kotelva, Velyki Budyshcha, and Dykanka, and then loops around Poltava and terminates at the intersection of Highway M03 and Polovky Street. Sumy ( uk, Суми ) is a city of regional significance in Ukraine, and the capital of Sumy Oblast. Okhtyrka
Okhtyrka ( uk, Охти́рка, ) is a city located in the Sumy Oblast (province) of Ukraine. It is administratively incorporated as a city of oblast significance. The city has also served as the administrative center of the smaller Okhtyrka Raion since 1975, although it does not belong to the raion itself. Okhtyrka was once home to Hussars and Cossacks. It was also once a regional seat of the Sloboda Ukraine imperial region and of the Ukrainian SSR. Since the discovery of oil and gas in 1961, Okhtyrka has become the "oil capital of Ukraine." Verkhnia Syrovatka, russian: Верхняя Сыроватка, also Верхняя Сывороткa) is a village in Sumy Raion, Sumy Oblast, in central Ukraine. It is the administrative centre of Verkhnia Syrovatka rural hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Its population is 3,814 (). Overview Verkhnia Syrovatka was first mentioned in 1653. Highway M03 (Ukraine)
Highway M03 is a Ukrainian international highway ( M-highway) connecting Kyiv with Dovzhansky on the border with Russia, where it continues into Russia as the A270. It is part of European route E40 from Kyiv to Debaltseve at which it is part of European route E50 to the border with Russia. At , the M03 is the longest international state highway in Ukraine. In Soviet times the M03 was part of the M19. Today, the highway stretches through five oblasts and ends at the border checkpoint at Dovzhansky which is part of Sverdlovsk Raion (Luhansk Oblast). The route connects Kyiv and Kharkiv with the industrial region of Donbass. Kotelva ( uk, Котельва) is an urban-type settlement in Poltava Raion in Poltava Oblast in northeastern Ukraine, and formerly the administrative centre of Kotelva Raion prior to its abolition in 2020. Trostianets (also Trostyanets; uk, Тростянець, ) is a city in the Sumy Oblast in Ukraine, and serves as the administrative center of the Trostianets Raion.
