Alberta Provincial Highway No. 57, commonly referred to as Highway 57, was a highway in central Alberta, Canada that served the Town of Drayton Valley and existed between the 1950s and 1979. It is now part of Highway 22 and Highway 39. History Highway 57 originally was a north–south gravel highway that linked Drayton Valley to Highway 16 in Entwistle. In the mid-1950s, spurred on by increased oil activity, Highway 57 was extended from Drayton Valley eastward across the North Saskatchewan River. In 1955, a ferry that started operations and travelled east to the Village of Breton, terminating Highway 39. In 1957, the highway was realigned across a new bridge and terminated at Hamlet of Alsike, north of Breton. Interstate 57 (I-57) is a north–south Interstate Highway in Missouri and Illinois that parallels the old Illinois Central Railroad for much of its route. It runs from Sikeston, Missouri, at I-55 to Chicago, Illinois, at I-94. I-57 essentially serves as a shortcut route for travelers headed between the South (Memphis, New Orleans, etc.) and Chicago, bypassing St. Louis, Missouri and Springfield, Illinois. Between the junction of I-55 and I-57 in Sikeston and the junction of I-55 and I-90/I-94 in Chicago, I-55 travels for , while the combination of I-57 and I-94 is only long between the same two points. M57 Motorway
The M57 motorway, also known as the Liverpool Outer Ring Road, is a road in England. Designed as a Ring road for Liverpool, it is long between Tarbock Green and Switch lsland, and links various towns east of the city, as well as the M62 and M58 motorways. Route Starting at the Tarbock Interchange in Tarbock, at the end of the A5300, the motorway heads north to the east of Huyton and west of Prescot and crosses the Liverpool and Manchester Railway. It then runs across the northeast of Huyton before running west of Knowsley Village. After meeting the A580 at a split junction (numbered 4 & 5), it continues northwest through Kirkby, passes under the Kirkby and Ormskirk branches of the Merseyrail Northern Line before ending on Switch Island near Aintree. State Highway 57 (SH 57) is a New Zealand state highway, linking State Highway 1 north of Ohau to State Highway 3 east of Ashhurst, via Levin, Shannon, Massey University and the southern suburbs of Palmerston North.
