Highway 230 (AR 230, Ark. 230, and Hwy. 230) is a designation for four state highways in Arkansas. One route of begins at Highway 14/ Highway 25 at Locust Grove and runs east to US Highway 167 (US 167) in Southside. A second route of begins at US 167 in Cave City and runs east to Highway 25 in Strawberry. A third route of begins at Highway 367 in Alicia and runs east to US 63 Business (US 63B) in Bono. Arkansas Highway 135
Highway 135 (AR 135, Ark. 135, Hwy. 135) is a north–south state highway in northeast Arkansas. The route of runs from Interstate 555 (I-555) near Tyronza north through Paragould to US 62. Route description AR 135 begins at Interstate 555 south of Tyronza and runs north to intersect AR 118 before meeting AR 14/ AR 140 in Lepanto. The route continues north to Caraway, where it meets concurs with AR 158. The concurrency ends in Black Oak, when AR 135 begins to arrow west with AR 18. The route leaves AR 18 in Lake City, after which it angles north to Paragould. In Paragould, AR 135 meets US 412 and US 49/ AR 1 before exiting town headed north. The following is a list of state highways in Arkansas. The state does not use a numbering convention. Generally the two-digit odd numbered highways run north–south with a few exceptions; and even-numbered two-digit state highways run east–west with a few exceptions. Arkansas has long had a stigma of poor roads, dating from the "Arkansas Roads Scandal" playing a prominent role in state politics through the 1920s and 1930s, periodic allegations of corruption, waste, and fraud, and a long-running struggle to adequately fund the operation, maintenance and expansion of a large highway system serving a rural state. The state has received the designation of "worst roads in America" from several publications throughout the 1990s and into the 2000s, with Interstate 30 and Interstate 40 often ranking particularly poorly among truckers. Arkansas Highway 224 (AR 224, Hwy. 224) is a designation for two east–west state highways in Jackson County, Arkansas. A northern route of runs east from Highway 367 to the city limits of Swifton. A second route of begins at US Route 67 (US 67) and runs to Highway 14 after serving as a frontage road of US 67. Route description Tuckerman to Swifton Highway 224 begins at Highway 367 near Tuckerman and runs east. The route turns north and crosses over Highway 226 and a temporary designation of US 67 until the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) completes a new freeway alignment for US 67. Slightly north of this alignment, the route terminates at the Swifton south city limits.
