Highschool Football League
The Highschool Football League (HFL; ), founded in 2006 by Chinese Taipei Football Association, is the second-level football (soccer) league in the Republic of China (Taiwan). The competitions are played between senior-high school teams (under-19 men). In 2008, HFL's main sponsor changed to Chinese Taipei School Sport Federation (). Format The league features a total of eight teams that compete during the first half of the year (e.g. February to May for the 2006 season). The top four teams of the National Youth Cup and the top two teams of current league season are granted to become league members next year. The remaining places are determined by qualification competitions held in December. Association football, more commonly known as football or soccer, is a team sport played between two teams of 11 players who primarily use their feet to propel the ball around a rectangular field called a pitch. Hualien City
Hualien City (; Wade-Giles: Hua¹-lien² Shih⁴; Hokkien POJ: ''Hoa-lian-chhī'' or ''Hoa-liân-chhī'') is a county-administered city and the county seat of Hualien County, Taiwan. It is located on the east coast of Taiwan on the Pacific Ocean, and has a population of 106,368 inhabitants. National Hualien Senior High School
The National Hualien Senior High chool (HLHS; ) is a high school in Hualien City, Hualien County, Taiwan. History HLHS was established in 1936 as Hualien Harbor Public School (花蓮港中學校) (Karenkō Public School) in the period of Imperial Japanese occupation. In 1945, after the Taiwan resurrection, renamed to Taiwan Provincial Hualien Harbor School (junior and senior High School). In 1946, it changed its name to Taiwan Provincial Hualien Senior High School (省立花蓮高級中學) and eliminated its junior high school department in 1968. In 2000, HLHS renamed to its current name. Sanchong District () is a district in the western part of New Taipei City, Taiwan. With an area of 16.32 km2 and a population of 378,736 people (2022), it has the fourth highest population density in Taiwan and 23rd highest in the world, with over 23,900 people per km2. The New Taipei Municipal New Taipei Senior High School (NTSH; ) is a Taiwanese senior high school located in Sanchong District, New Taipei City. Jiali District () is a district located in northern Tainan, Taiwan, about 15 km north of the former Dutch base of Fort Zeelandia. History In the 17th century, the place was named ''Soulang'' after one of the four subtribes of the local Siraya aborigines.
