It was released on July 4, 2016 and is also the group's first Korean release since Hyunseung's departure from the group. Beast (South Korean Band)
Highlight (Korean: ) is a South Korean boy band formerly known as Beast (Korean: 비스트). The band consists of four members: Yoon Doo-joon, Yang Yo-seob, Lee Gi-kwang, and Son Dong-woon. Originally a six-piece band, Jang Hyun-seung departed from the group in April 2016, and Yong Jun-hyung departed in March 2019. In late 2016, the group moved labels from Cube Entertainment to Around Us Entertainment and subsequently changed their name to Highlight in 2017. The group debuted in 2009 with the EP ''Beast Is the B2ST''. In 2011, they released their first full-length album, ''Fiction and Fact'', and made their Japanese debut with the single, "Shock (Beast song), Shock". Yoon Doo-joon
Yoon Doo-joon (born July 4, 1989), better known mononymously as Doojoon, is a South Korean singer and actor. He is the leader of the South Korean boy group Highlight. Early life Yoon Doo-joon was born in Goyang, South Korea on July 4, 1989. His dream of becoming a high school Physical Education teacher changed suddenly during his second year of high school after watching MTV's ''Big Bang Documentary''. His parents and teachers didn't agree with him at first, though he pleaded with them to register him for music school and he soon started auditioning to become a singer. Yoon then became a trainee of JYP Entertainment and was featured in the Mnet documentary ''Hot Blooded Men'', a reality program that shows the preparation for their debut, with 2AM and 2PM, but he was eliminated along the course of the show. The Oricon Albums Chart is the Japanese music industry standard albums popularity chart issued daily, weekly, monthly and yearly by Oricon. Oricon originally published LP, CT, Cartridge and CD charts prior to the establishment of the Oricon Albums Chart on October 5, 1987. The Oricon Albums Chart's rankings are based on physical albums' sales. Oricon did not include download sales until its establishment of the Digital Albums Chart on November 19, 2016. In November 2018, Oricon began to include streaming in its album rankings, introducing a combined album chart based on album-equivalent units. Charts are published every Tuesday in Oricon Style and on Oricon's official website. Son Dong-woon
Son Dong-woon (; born June 6, 1991), known mononymously as Dongwoon, is a South Korean singer. He is a member of the boy group Highlight (formerly known as Beast). Biography Son Dong-woon was born in Busan, South Korea, on June 6, 1991. His father, Son Il-rak, is a professor at Cheongju University. Dong Woon stated in an interview and in the KBS show ''Win Win'' that he studied in Santa Rosa, Laguna, Philippines. Dong Woon was a trainee from JYP Entertainment for two years, and was the last member chosen to join Beast. He is the youngest of the group. Dong Woon attended Hanyoung High School and graduated from Dongguk University on 16 February 2017. On May 9, 2019, Son began his mandatory military service as a conscripted policeman. Lee Gi-kwang ( ko, 이기광; born March 30, 1990), known professionally as Gikwang or Kikwang, is a South Korean singer, songwriter and actor. Yang Yo-seob (born January 5, 1990), more commonly known as Yoseob, is a South Korean singer and musical actor. He is the main vocalist of the boy group Highlight. Biography Yang was born in Seoul, South Korea on January 5, 1990, in a small family with one older sister, Yang Hae-yeon. His name Yoseob was the Hanja version of the name Joseph, which was later sinicized by the decision of his grand father. He first gained interest in music and started practicing singing after listening to Brian McKnight's music. He then listened to a lot of music of a similar style, but realized that he should not be biased towards a certain genre and started listening to dance music and rock as well. Yong Jun-hyung (Hangul: 용준형; born Yong Jae-soon on December 19, 1989), commonly known as Junhyung, is a South Korean singer-songwriter, rapper, record producer and actor.
