High Tech Academy
High Tech Academy (commonly known as High Tech or HTA), is a post-secondary school serving grades 10-12, and is located in downtown Cleveland, Ohio, United States. High Tech is an option school established by the Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) and Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C). High Tech prepares high school students for technological careers and/or higher education. The programs develop the student's academic and technical skills particularly in English, reading comprehension, mathematics and information technology. Participating students attend their home high school in the morning and are transported in the afternoon for college courses at Tri-C's Metropolitan Campus in Cleveland until 2:00pm (students may take classes pass the school hours). John Hay High School
John Hay High School — also known as the John Hay Campus — is a public high school located in Cleveland, Ohio. John Hay is part of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, with grade levels including 9th through 12th. The neoclassical school was designed by Cleveland Schools architect George Hopkinson, and was built in 1929. Lincoln-West High School
Lincoln-West High School (L-W) is a high school located in Cleveland, in the U.S. state of Ohio and part of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. The school's name is a by-product of the merger between Cleveland's Lincoln High School and West High School. The current school building was built in 1970. Lincoln-West has a large multicultural and multilingual population including over 41 nationalities and 25 languages. John Marshall High School (JMH) is a high school with grade levels including 9th through 12th located on the west side of Cleveland, Ohio. It is part of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. History Built in 1932, John Marshall High School is known for numerous academic programs including college preparatory academies and post-secondary enrollment options. Glenville High School
Glenville High School is a public high school in the Glenville area on the East Side of Cleveland, Ohio. The school is part of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. The school originally resided at the former Oliver Wendell Holmes school (then The Doan Building) which formerly sat on the northeast corner of E. 105th and St. Clair then later moved to Parkwood and Everton in October 1904 as population grew. East Technical High School or East Tech is a secondary school under the operation of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District in Cleveland, Ohio. History The school, when it opened on October 5, 1908, was the first public trade school in the city and reported to be only one of five in the United States. The first principal was James F. Barker (1906–1911) from Muskegon, Michigan. In 1952, Central High School merged with East Technical. High School Basketball
Basketball is a team sport in which two teams, most commonly of five players each, opposing one another on a rectangular court, compete with the primary objective of shooting a basketball (approximately in diameter) through the defender's hoop (a basket in diameter mounted high to a backboard at each end of the court, while preventing the opposing team from shooting through their own hoop.
