WinburnDesert medical facility to increase health care accessibility ''The Antelope Valley Times'', June 1, 2014, Accessed June 1, 2014. It is operated by the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services through its Ambulatory Care Network (ACN). The medical facility was awarded the 2015 DBIA National Design-Build Project/Team Award in the healthcare facility category. Los Angeles County Department of Health Services (abbreviated DHS and LADHS) operates the public hospitals and clinics in Los Angeles County, and is the United States' second largest municipal health system, after NYC Health + Hospitals.
