Hifazat Ullah Khan
Air Marshal Hifazat Ullah Khan HI(M), SBt ( ur, حفاظت اللہ خان), is former three-star general air officer who served as Vice Chief of the Air Staff (VCAS) of Pakistan Air Force from 29 March 2009 till 4 October 2010. Education and early life Hifazat was born in Mianwali. He is a graduate of PAF College Lower Topa where he belonged to V Entry. He then joined the Pakistan Air Force Academy at Risalpur and was commissioned on 25 October 1974 in 58th GD(P) course. He has qualified Staff College and Air War Course from PAF Air War College; L'ESGI and CSI from the École Militaire in France. He holds a M.Sc. in Strategic studies, from Karachi University. Sitara-e-Imtiaz
The Sitara-e-Imtiaz () also spelled as Sitara-i-Imtiaz, is the third-highest (in the order of "Imtiaz") honour and Civil decorations of Pakistan, civilian award in the State of Pakistan. It recognizes individuals who have made an "especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of Pakistan, world peace, cultural or other significant public endeavours". This award is not limited to the citizens of Pakistan, and it can also be awarded to foreign citizens based on their achievements and services done to the State of Pakistan (see Władysław Turowicz). Pakistan Air Force college Lower Topa is an all-boys military boarding school situated at PAF Base, Lower Topa, which is located near Patriata in the Murree region of the Murree District of Pakistan. Air Officer
An air officer is an air force officer of the rank of air commodore or higher. Such officers may be termed "officers of air rank". While the term originated in the Royal Air Force, air officers are also to be found in many Commonwealth nations who have a similar rank structure to the RAF.
