''Hiding Inside the Horrible Weather'' is My American Heart's second and final album, released on June 26, 2007, by Warcon Records. The album was produced by James Paul Wisner, and the artwork was designed by Don Clark of Invisible Creature. Two music videos for the album's single "The Shake (Awful Feeling)" were released. Critical reception Mike Sterry of ''NME'' wrote that My American Heart "play what was considered pop-emo about five years ago, but their trick is to draw a bit of influence from the likes of Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Kings of Leon" and that "''Hiding''... has incredible 10-second intros and great ideas, but feels less than the sum of its parts." My American Heart
My American Heart is an American rock band from San Diego, California, formed in 2001. Originally named No Way Out, the band released two studio albums through Warcon Enterprises and toured the world before disbanding in late 2009. They reunited in 2017. History My American Heart gained local fame from many local SoCal venues from which they played. Due to legal troubles concerning their name, the band changed their name from No Way Out to My American Heart to reflect the ethnic and national duality the original members identified with. The band made their first big break winning the Ernie Ball Battle Of The Bands. As popularity grew, the band was pressured to play at larger venues farther from home, causing Clint Delgado to leave the band to focus on his education. Indie rock is a Music subgenre, subgenre of rock music that originated in the United States, United Kingdom and New Zealand from the 1970s to the 1980s. Don Clark (musician)
Don Clark (born May 30, 1975) is an American musician. He was the rhythm guitarist and bassist for the Christian metal band, Demon Hunter, which he co-founded with his brother, vocalist Ryan Clark. Before Demon Hunter, Clark was a former guitarist and co-founder of Training for Utopia with Rob Dennler. He appears on Zao's ''The Lesser Lights of Heaven'' DVD. History Before forming TFU and Demon Hunter, Clark was in a local band called Offset. Offset never recorded anything and was short lived. Clark then started Training for Utopia with Rob Dennler. Clark formed the band with the Rob Dennler (vocals), Steve Saxby (bass) and Morley Boyer (drums). Dennler left the band in 1996 and Ryan joined the band. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs are an American indie rock band formed in New York City in 2000.
