Hidayat TV
Hidayat TV is an Islamic satellite TV Channel based in the United Kingdom. It is notable for being the first Shia Muslim channel in the United Kingdom and Europe and its website is banned by the United States with links with the Iranian regime. According to the mission statement on itwebsitethe objectives of Hidayat TV includes developing the Muslim community by covering various educational, welfare and religious needs. Hidayat TV was established by two Islamic scholars Moulana Gulam Hussain Adeel and Maulana Syed Abbas Abedi along with Dr. Gulam Hadi Kadiwal and Sakhawat Hussain Shah. Hidayat TV initially aired parts daily but became a full-time 24-hour running channel from 16 February 2009. Hidayat TV launched globally on 5 December 2009 reaching audiences in UK, Europe and parts of North Africa via Eutelsat 28A. Tawassul
Tawassul is an Arabic word originated from wa-sa-la- wasilat (). The ''wasilah'' is a means by which a person, goal or objective is approached, attained or achieved. In another version of the meaning of tawassul in another text: Tawassul is an Arabic word that comes from a verbal noun, wasilah, which according to Ibn Manzur (d. 711/1311) in Lisān al-'Arab means "a station of King, a rank, or act of devotion". The ( ar, دعاء كميل, ) is a supplication () attributed to Ali ibn Abi Talib (), the fourth Rashidun caliph (), the first Shia Imam, and the cousin and son-in-law of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. It has been transmitted on the authority of Kumayl ibn Ziyad (), a close associate of Ali. This contains esoteric teachings about divine mercy and repentance, and remains popular especially among Shia Muslims. About Kumayl ibn Ziyad was a prominent nobleman in Kufa, Iraq. Noha
A noha ( fa, نوحه, ur, نوحہ; translit. ''nūḥa/nawḥa''; az, Növhə/Нөвһә/نؤوحه), when interpreted in light of Shia views, is an elegy about the tragedy of Husayn ibn Ali in the Battle of Karbala. Marsiya and Noha have the historical and social milieu of pre-Islamic Arabic and Persian culture. The sub-parts of Marsiya are called Noha and Soaz which means lamentation. A marsiya ( fa, مرثیه) is an elegiac poem written to commemorate the martyrdom and valour of Hussain ibn Ali and his comrades of the Karbala. Marsiyas are essentially religious. Ahl al-Kisa ( ar, أَهْل ٱلْكِسَاء, ʾAhl al-Kisāʾ, lit=people of the cloak, '), also known as the Aal al-Aba (, ), are the Islamic prophet Muhammad, his daughter Fatima, his cousin and son-in-law Ali, and his two grandsons Hasan and Husayn. Ahl al-Bayt ( ar, أَهْل ٱلْبَيْت, ) refers to the family of the Islamic prophet Muhammad, but the term has also been extended in Sunni Islam to apply to all descendants of the Banu Hashim (Muhammad's clan) and even to all Muslims.
