The eighth series of the children's television series '' Hi-5'' aired between 12 June 2006 and 11 August 2006 on the Nine Network in Australia. The series was produced by Kids Like Us for Nine with Helena Harris as executive producer. This was the last series to feature Kathleen de Leon Jones as a regular cast member. Kellie Crawford
Kellie Lynn Crawford, née Hoggart (born 1 May 1974), is an Australian singer, actress and children's performer. Crawford was an original member of the Australian children's musical group Hi-5 (Australian band), Hi-5 from 1998 to 2008 and was also a member of pop group Teen Queens. She left Hi-5 in December 2008 after ten years with the group. Career Crawford was born Kellie Lynn Hoggart on 1 May 1974. She began her career as a teenager appearing in Pizza Hut commercials. In 1991, at age 17, Crawford along with Liza Witt and Roxanne Clarke, formed an idea to bring back music from the past and recreate it as a pop music act. Kathleen de Leon Jones (born Kathleen de León on 1 September 1977) is a Filipina-born Australian actress, dancer, and singer. She was an original cast member of the ARIA Award winning Australian children's musical group Hi-5. She left Hi-5 in July 2007 after nine years with the group. Nathan Foley (singer)
Nathan Joel Foley (born 27 September 1979) is an Australian singer-songwriter and television personality. He was an original member of Australian children's musical group Hi-5. Early life Foley started singing professionally at 10 years old with bands singing Jazz, Soul, R&B, Pop and Rock in clubs in Sydney, Australia. During his school years, Foley performed in the Coca-Cola Schools Spectacular for seven years as a soloist working with big bands and orchestra's and graduated from the Talent Development Project in 1997. Tim Harding (musician)
Timothy John Harding (born 1 February 1978) is an Australian musician, singer, guitarist, entertainer and former member of the Australian children's musical group Hi-5. He left Hi-5 on November 14 2007, after nine years with the group due to suffering major injuries following a motorcycle accident. Life and career Harding grew up in Sydney, Australia, with two younger brothers named Peter and James and attended St Andrew's Cathedral School. In 1993 he began a funk band Compos Mentis with his brother Peter, family friend Mike McCarthy and bass player Sam O'Donnell. He does a Bit of Boxing and Surfing. In 1998 whilst studying social work at university, he auditioned for the children's musical group debut in '' Hi-5'' from April 12, 1999. The ninth series of the children's television series '' Hi-5'' aired between 11 June 2007 and 10 August 2007 on the Nine Network in Australia. The series was produced by Kids Like Us for Nine with Helena Harris as executive producer. This was the first series to feature Sun Park, replacing Kathleen de Leon Jones, who makes three guest appearances throughout the series. It was also the last series to feature Tim Harding. Production Prior to production of the ninth series of '' Hi-5'' in 2006, Kathleen de Leon Jones announced that she was pregnant, and that she would take maternity leave from the Hi-5 group from April onwards. de Leon Jones had previously been involved in the filming of the eighth series, which did not air until June, after she had departed.
