Heytesbury Pty Ltd
Heytesbury Pty. Ltd. is the privately owned company of the Holmes à Court family in Western Australia. Originally called Heytesbury Holdings, the company was formed by Robert Holmes à Court in the 1970s as the holding company of his rapidly expanding financial empire. After the sale of its interests in Bell Group and Bell Resources in 1988, Heytesbury became a private investment vehicle, acquiring Really Useful Group#Really Useful Theatres, Stoll Moss Theatres and Sherwin Pastoral Co, and investing in companies such as Jaguar Cars, Christie's, Standard Chartered Bank and U.S. Steel. Following the death of Robert Holmes à Court in 1990, his widow Janet Holmes à Court, Janet took over the management of Heytesbury. The Australian Agricultural Company (AACo) () is a public-listed Australian company that, as at 2018, owned and operated feedlots and farms covering around of land in Queensland and the Northern Territory, roughly one percent of Australia's land mass. As of July 2008 AACo had a staff of 500 and operated 24 cattle stations and two feedlots, consisting of over 565,000 beef cattle. Perth
Perth is the capital and largest city of the Australian state of Western Australia. Vasse Felix
Vasse Felix was the first vineyard and winery to be established in the Margaret River wine region of Western Australia. Founded in Wilyabrup in 1967 by Dr Tom Cullity, it is recognised as a pioneer of the region, and also features an acclaimed restaurant in Cowaramup. History The first vintage at Vasse Felix was disappointing, with the harvest being substantially reduced by attacks from silver eyes, and by the after-effects of bunch rot. Victoria River Downs Station, also known as Victoria Downs and often referred to as The Big Run, is a pastoral lease that operates as a cattle station in the Northern Territory of Australia. Location It is located about south east of Timber Creek and west of Daly Waters in the Northern Territory. The property abuts the Daguragu Aboriginal Land Trust to the south, Camfield Station, Montejinni and Killarney Stations to the east, Delamere to the north and Humbert River Station and the Bilinarra-Jutpurra Aboriginal Land Trust to the west. Mount Sanford Station
Mount Sanford Station is a pastoral lease located approximately south of Katherine that operates as a cattle station in the top end of the Northern Territory. The property currently occupies an area of and is stocked with 23,000 head of cattle. It is owned by the Heytesbury cattle company and was managed in 2017 by Brent and Kelsey Stevenson, who took over in 2013. It is composed primarily of undulating country with open black soil and patches of rock, with areas of swampy soil to the west, soil ridges to the south, and gorges and springs to the east. In 2001 the property was managed by Paul and Jane Stone, who also had around 100 horses broken-in on the station each year for all the Heytesbury properties. Michael Robert Hamilton Holmes à Court (27 July 1937 – 2 September 1990) was a South African-born Australian businessman who became Australia's first billionaire, before dying suddenly of a heart attack in 1990 at the age of 53. Janet Holmes à Court, AC, HonFAHA, HonFAIB (born Janet Lee Ranford on 29 November 1943 in Perth, Western Australia) is an Australian businesswoman and one of Australia's wealthiest women.
