''Hey Kandi...'' is the debut studio album by American singer Kandi Burruss, released by Columbia Records on September 19, 2000 (see 2000 in music) in North America. Co-produced by Kandi and Kevin "She'kspere" Briggs, It debuted at number 72 on the US ''Billboard'' 200 and number 32 on the ''Billboard'' Top R&B/Hip-Hop albums chart. It spawned two singles with "Don't Think I'm Not" and " Cheatin' on Me". As of September 2009, 260,000 units of the album have been sold in the United States and 325,000 units of the album worldwide. Background After the disband of the R&B group '' Xscape'' in 1998, Burruss broke away from music for a while. Kandi Lenice Burruss Tucker (born May 17, 1976), known professionally by her mononym Kandi, is an American producer, television personality, singer, songwriter and actress. She first gained notice in 1992 as a member of the female vocal group Xscape. In 2000, she won a Grammy Award for Best R&B Song for her writing contributions on the TLC hit song " No Scrubs". Burruss has starred in the Bravo reality television series ''The Real Housewives of Atlanta'' since its second-season premiere on July 30, 2009. Jam! was a Canadian website which covers entertainment news. It was part of the Canoe.com online portal, formerly owned and operated by Quebecor through its Sun Media division, and now owned by Postmedia Network. Tameka Dianne Cottle Harris (born July 14, 1975), known professionally by her nickname Tiny, is an American singer-songwriter.
