"Hey" is a song by German recording artist Andreas Bourani. It was written by Bourani along with Julius Hartog, Jasmin Shakeri, and Philipp Steinke for his second album ''Hey'' (2014), while production was helmed by the latter. The ballad was released as the album's fourth and final single. It reached the top thirty in Germany and the top forty on the Swiss Singles Chart upon its December 2015 release. Andreas Bourani
Andreas Bourani (formerly Stiegelmair; 2 November 1983) is a German singer-songwriter. Career Bourani was born to Egyptians, Egyptian parents and adopted as an infant by a German family in Augsburg, in the southwest of Bavaria. As a youth, he attended high school at St. Stephan and studied at the private music school Downtown Music Institute. In 2008, he moved from Munich to Berlin. In 2010, he received a recording contract with Universal Music and performed as an opening act for Philipp Poisel and Culcha Candela on their 2010 arena tours. In June 2011, Bourani released his debut album ''Staub & Fantasie''. It reached number 23 on the German Albums Chart and spawned the hit single "Nur in meinem Kopf" which became a top 20 hit in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. The GfK Entertainment charts are the official music charts in Germany and are gathered and published by GfK Entertainment (formerly Media Control and Media Control GfK International), a subsidiary of GfK, on behalf of Bundesverband Musikindustrie. GfK Entertainment is the provider of weekly Top 100 single and album charts, as well as various other chart formats for genres like compilations, jazz, classical music, schlager, hip hop, dance, comedy, and music videos. ''The Best Singers'', created and owned by FTV Rights B.V., is a reality television series that has been broadcast under various names in a number of European countries. The original format is produced in the Netherlands by FTV Productions B.V. and broadcast on NPO1 by public broadcaster AVROTROS (formerly AVRO and TROS. The two broadcasters merged in 2013). Yvonne Catterfeld (born 2 December 1979) is a German singer, actress, and television personality. Born and raised in Erfurt, Thuringia, she later moved to Leipzig to pursue her career in music.
