Hey! Hello! are an international power pop band, formed by the English singer-songwriter, Ginger (singer), Ginger Wildheart. The band's initial incarnation for the debut album consisted of Ginger Wildheart and New York City-based singer Victoria Liedtke. Liedtke was replaced by Love Zombies singer Hollis Mahady in 2015, with Toshi, Ai Sugiyama and The Rev joining the lineup. Mahady left the band in 2016, and auditions were held to replace her. According to Ginger, the band's name was chosen by his son, who had misheard the Ramones lyric "Hey Ho, Let's Go". The self-titled debut album was recorded throughout 2012, with Ginger playing drums, bass and guitars as well as contributing vocals. His parts were recorded by Russ Russell before being sent to New York, for Liedtke to add her vocals with engineering assistance from Bryan Scary. Power Pop
Power pop (also typeset as powerpop) is a form of pop rock based on the early music of bands such as the Who, the Beatles, the Beach Boys, and the Byrds. It typically incorporates melodic hooks, vocal harmonies, an energetic performance, and cheerful sounding music underpinned by a sense of yearning, longing, or despair. The sound is primarily rooted in pop and rock traditions of the early to mid-1960s, although some acts have occasionally drawn from later styles such as punk, new wave, glam rock, pub rock, college rock, and neo-psychedelia. Originating in the 1960s, power pop developed mainly among American musicians who came of age during the British Invasion. Many of these young musicians wished to retain the "teenage innocence" of pop and rebelled against newer forms of rock music that were thought to be pretentious and inaccessible. The Wildhearts
The Wildhearts are an English rock band, formed in 1989 in Newcastle upon Tyne. The band's sound is a mixture of hard rock and melodic pop music, often described in the music press as combining influences as diverse as the Beatles and 1980s-era Metallica. The Wildhearts achieved several top 20 singles and two top 10 albums in Britain, though they also faced difficulties with record companies and many internal problems often relating to drugs and depression. Much of the band's early career was affected by bitter feuds with their record company, East West. Frank Kozik (born January 9, 1962 in Madrid) is an American graphic artist best known for his posters for alternative rock bands. History Kozik has worked with Nirvana (band), Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Melvins, The Offspring, Butthole Surfers, and Helmet (band), Helmet. It catalogs more than three million album entries and 30 million tracks, as well as information on musicians and bands. Duff McKagan
Michael Andrew "Duff" McKagan (born February 5, 1964), sometimes credited as Duff "Rose" McKagan, is an American musician. He played bass for twelve years in the hard rock band Guns N' Roses, with whom he achieved worldwide success in the late 1980s and early 1990s. McKagan rejoined the band in 2016, following their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Bryan Scary (born Bryan Treitler) is an American musician. Career Scary's career in music began in Brooklyn, New York City. He received a degree in film production from New York University in 2005. As a film student, Scary wrote and directed several student films including ''Sunset Town'' in 2003, and ''The Gun Play'' in 2005. His musical debut and first album, '' The Shredding Tears'', was released by Black and Greene Records on October 31, 2006.
