George W. Hewlett High School (also known as Hewlett High School, or HHS, and replacing Woodmere High School) is a four-year public high school in Hewlett Bay Park, New York, United States. Located in the Five Towns area of Long Island, it is the only high school in the Hewlett-Woodmere Union Free School District (District 14). Demographics As of the 2018–19 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,039 students and 96.6 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 10.8:1. There were 212 students (20.4% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 37 (3.6% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.School data for George W Hewlett High School

Hewlett-Woodmere School District
The Hewlett-Woodmere Public School District, Union Free School District 14, is located in the southwest section of Nassau County, New York and borders the New York City borough of Queens. Communities in the district include, in full or in part, Hewlett, Woodmere, Woodsburgh, North Woodmere an unincorporated area of Valley Stream, the Gibson section of Valley Stream, Hewlett Harbor, Hewlett Neck, and Hewlett Bay Park, as well as parts of Lynbrook, all comprise the geographical boundaries for the school district. Gordon Edelstein
Gordon Edelstein is an American theatre director. He was Artistic Director of the Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven, Connecticut from 2002 until January 2018, when he was fired following allegations of sexual misconduct. Biography He received a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in History and Religious Studies from Grinnell College in 1976. John DiResta is an American former New York Transit police officer turned comedian, and actor. Career He was the title star of a short-lived UPN sitcom called ''DiResta'' from 1998-1999. He has appeared in several films, including '' Miss Congeniality'' and its sequel, '' Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous'', as well as on the CBS sitcom ''Rules of Engagement''.
