Hesham Shaban
Hesham Shaban ( ar, هشام شعبان; born August 8, 1980) is a Libyan football defender currently playing for Al-Ittihad. Shaban has been a member of the Libya national football team. In 2008, Shaban appeared five times for the Libya national team in the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifying rounds, scoring in a 4–0 win over Lesotho. Tripoli (; ar, طرابلس الغرب, translit= Ṭarābulus al-Gharb , translation=Western Tripoli) is the capital and largest city of Libya, with a population of about 1.1 million people in 2019. It is located in the northwest of Libya on the edge of the desert, on a point of rocky land projecting into the Mediterranean Sea and forming a bay. 2010 FIFA World Cup Qualification
Qualifying for the 2010 FIFA World Cup was a series of tournaments organised by the six FIFA confederations. Each confederation — the AFC (Asia), CAF (Africa), CONCACAF (North, Central America and Caribbean), CONMEBOL (South America), OFC (Oceania), and UEFA (Europe) — was allocated a certain number of the 32 places at the tournament.
