X, sometimes referred to as Mr. X, is a fictional character on the American science fiction television series ''The X-Files''. Samantha Ann Mulder is a fictional character in the television series ''The X-Files''. On ''The X-Files'' television show, the term Men in Black refers to a group of enforcers employed by the Syndicate to execute assassinations, cover-ups and other clandestine operations.
