Herman Finkers
Hermenegildus Felix Victor Maria "Herman" Finkers (; born December 9, 1954) is a Dutch comedian, who is well known in the Netherlands for his friendly, dry-witted humour and his ambiguous style of storytelling. In his way of telling a story the moral should never be in the way of a good joke or pun. His humour is never at the expense of others, except his brother Wilfried Finkers, who is frequently the target of jokes. Wilfried Finkers co-wrote material and occasionally appeared in his brother's shows. Biography Herman Finkers was born in Almelo in 1954 and raised in a Catholic family. Herman's career as a cabaret performer began after his study when he made his stuttering his trademark. His first program was called ''Op Zwart Zangzaad''. In 1979 Herman won multiple prizes at the Delftse Cameretten festival. He temporarily stopped performing in 2000 due to a lack of inspiration and motivation. ''De Wereld Draait Door'' (; English: "The world keeps on turning") also known by the acronym DWDD was an early-evening talk show on Dutch television, broadcast every weekday at 7:00 p.m. on NPO 1. It is the Netherlands' longest-running, regularly scheduled TV entertainment show and is also the program with the second-highest viewing figures on Dutch television, beaten only by the main evening news at 8.00 p.m. The show, created by Dieuwke Wynia and produced by BNNVARA, was discontinued after the last episode on 27 March 2020. Content The chat, conducted at a large table, was hosted by Matthijs van Nieuwkerk and a rotating guest co-host. Twente
Twente ( nl, Twente , Tweants dialect: ''Tweante'') is a region in the eastern Netherlands. It encompasses the most urbanised and easternmost part of the province of Overijssel. Twente is most likely named after the Tuihanti or Tvihanti, a Germanic tribe that settled in the area and was mentioned by the Roman historian Tacitus. Dialect

Dutch Low Saxon
Dutch Low Saxon ( or ''Nederlaands Nedersaksies''; nl, Nederlands Nedersaksisch) are the Low Saxon dialects of the Low German language that are spoken in the northeastern Netherlands and are written there with local, unstandardised orthographies based on Standard Dutch orthography. The UNESCO Atlas of endangered languages lists the language as vulnerable. The percentage of speakers among parents dropped from 34% in 1995 to 15% in 2011. The percentage of speakers among their children dropped from 8% to 2% in the same period. According to a 2005 study 53% speaks Low Saxon or Low Saxon and Dutch at home and 71% could speak it in the researched area. The Netherlands recognizes Dutch Low Saxon as an official regional language under the European Charter for Regional or Minority Languages.
