''Here to Stay'' is a studio album by American jazz trumpeter Freddie Hubbard recorded on December 27, 1962 but not released on the Blue Note Records, Blue Note label until 1976 as BN-LA 496-2. ''Here to Stay'' is the second album by the duo of composer Jan Hammer and guitarist Neal Schon. This album also featured contributions from Schon's bandmates in Journey including songwriting and background vocals from Steve Perry, notable as the only time Schon and Perry collaborated outside of Journey. The lead single "No More Lies" featured Schon on vocals and had a music video that was played on MTV. The album cover is a play on the well known Arm & Hammer brand baking soda. "Self Defense" would later be re-recorded for Journey's 2005 album ''Generations'' (under the title "In Self Defense"), with Schon taking lead vocal duties once again. ''Here to Stay'' compiles all five Slickee Boys 7"s from 1976–1981 (plus one previously unreleased song—"Kids"). It was released by the German label Line Records with a catalog number of LLP 5170. It includes cover versions of songs originally recorded by Perry Como (by way of the Downliners Sect), the Rokes (and the Grass Roots—the Slickees combined the two versions), Vince Taylor, the Yardbirds, the Hangmen, The Chocolate Watch Band, as well as the theme from the film ''Exodus''. According to the liner notes for ''Mersey, Mersey Me'', Talking Heads had dropped the song "Girls Want to Be With the Girls" from their repertoire but re-visited it after hearing the Slickees' version, which beat the Talking Heads version to vinyl by months. Pat Metheny Group
The Pat Metheny Group was an American jazz band founded in 1977. The core members of the group were guitarist, composer and bandleader Pat Metheny; and keyboardist and composer Lyle Mays, who was in the group at its inception. Other long-standing members included bassist and producer Steve Rodby, from 1981 to 2010, and drummer Antonio Sanchez, from 2002 to 2010. Vocalist Pedro Aznar and drummer Paul Wertico were also long-time members. In addition to a core quartet, the group was often joined by a variety of other instrumentalists expanding the size to six or eight musicians. "Here to Stay" is a song by New Order and produced by The Chemical Brothers. It was released as a single in 2002, and reached number 15 in the UK Singles Chart. Release "Here to Stay" was the closing track from the movie ''24 Hour Party People'', and was the only new song composed specifically for the film. Its music video compiled scenes from the movie in black and white, and featured John Simm (who played Bernard Sumner in the movie) and comedian/actor Steve Coogan (who played Tony Wilson) reprising their roles. Treat Myself
''Treat Myself'' is the third major-label studio album by American singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor, released on January 31, 2020. Trainor worked with producers including Mike Sabath, Tyler Johnson and Ojivolta, and co-wrote songs with her brothers Ryan and Justin Trainor and British singer Frances, among others, to create the album. Artists who are featured on the album include Sabath, Nicki Minaj, Lennon Stella, Sasha Alex Sloan, The Pussycat Dolls and AJ Mitchell. Musically, ''Treat Myself'' was Trainor's attempt to create a pop record that feels relevant in an era when hip-hop reigns.
