Sheldon David "Scott" English (January 10, 1937 – November 16, 2018) was an American songwriter, arranger and record producer. Andy Roberts (born Andrew Jonathan Roberts, 12 June 1946, in Hatch End near Harrow, Middlesex, England) is an English musician, guitarist and singer-songwriter, perhaps best known for his 37-year partnership with singer Iain Matthews in the English folk rock band, Plainsong. When he was nine years old, Roberts took up learning to play the violin and gained a violin scholarship to Felsted School in Essex. At the same time he also developed a talent for playing guitar, and became a member of various school bands. In 1965 he went to Liverpool University to study Law, and whilst there teamed up with poet Roger McGough, becoming the lone guitarist accompanying The Scaffold, and then joining The Liverpool Scene, with McGough and fellow Liverpool poet Adrian Henri. ''Tails of Illusion'' is the second album by glam rock band Fox released in 1975. Recording and production Kenny Young and company were overwhelmed after the whirlwind success of their eponymous debut album, and spent a significant while recovering in Bali. The experience revitalized him, and he wanted to do more than write silly love songs; he wanted to share his enlightenment and his Bali with the world, and it's evident throughout the album, from the cover art, to snippets of gamelan concerts, to song names ("Kupu-kupu" means butterfly). ''Fox'' is the debut album by the band of the same name released 17 May 1975. The cover photography was by Gered Mankowitz. Songwriter Kenny Young had worked off and on with the Australian singer Susan Traynor on one of his solo albums, ''Last Stage For Silverworld'', where she was listed as 'Amanda'. Young had written Reparata and the Delrons' " Captain of Your Ship", which had been a UK hit, and in order to create a similar vehicle for Young's songwriting, Traynor was renamed exotically, Noosha, and given the helm of his glam rock band, Fox. The band's self-titled debut album was released on GTO Records in 1975 to critical acclaim. The lead single, "Only You Can", was a Top 10 hit in the UK Singles Chart, the follow-up "Imagine Me, Imagine You" later the same year also reached the Top 20 and "He's Got Magic" was a hit in some European countries. "S-S-S-Single Bed" is a song by British-based pop group Fox from their third album '' Blue Hotel''. Written and produced by the group's founder Kenny Young, it became their third and final hit on the UK Singles Chart in May 1976, spending 10 weeks on the chart and reaching a peak of number four.
