Herbert Prikopa
Herbert "Happi" Prikopa (30 November 1935 – 8 December 2015) was an Austrian television presenter, Conducting, conductor, operatic tenor, actor, composer, writer, pianist and cabaret artist. Life and career Born in Vienna, in 1935, at the age of 19, Prikopa became the youngest répétiteur at the Wiener Volksoper. After a singing engagement at the Wiener Kammeroper he became a member of Gerhard Bronner's "" in the cabaret programm ''Brettl vorm Klavier''. In 1957 a Solo (music), soloist contract was signed at the Volksoper instead of the répétiteur contract. From 1988 to 2009 Prikopa belonged to the radio cabaret team "". In the 1998/1999 to 2007/2008 seasons, Prikopa was musical director and conductor of the Johann Strauss Concert Gala in Vienna. Otto Brusatti
Otto Brusatti (born 29 June 1948) is an Austrian radio personality and musicologist. He has also made a name for himself as an author, director and exhibition organizer. Life Born in Zell am See, Brusatti grew up in Baden near Vienna. The son of a couple of professors, Brusatti first aspired to a university career. He studied musicology, history and philosophy and worked in Germany for the WDR. At the beginning of the 80s he returned to ORF and began to host the morning show ''Pasticcio'' on Ö1, which he still does today. He was also a regular host of the Saturday culture programme ', in which he usually invited theatre people or classical musicians to and had them present their favourite music in a portrait. Reinhard Schwabenitzky (23 April 1947 – 9 February 2022) was an Austrian film director, producer and screenwriter. Life and career Reinhard Schwabenitzky was born in his maternal grandmother's pub in the remote hamlet of Bucheben, a long walk along the valley to the south of Rauris, which is a small town in the mountains of the State of Salzburg, positioned an hour or so by car (in the summers) to the south of Salzburg itself. Gerhard Klingenberg, his father, was an actor. He would later describe his childhood as short of material benefits, but happy. During his early school years there was still no electricity supply. ''Mesmer'' is a 1994 Austrian-Canadian-British-German biographical film directed by Roger Spottiswoode from a script by Dennis Potter. It stars Alan Rickman as Franz Anton Mesmer and depicts his radical new ways as a pioneering physician. Plot In 18th century Vienna, Franz Anton Mesmer believes he is able to heal patients by drawing out something unique from inside his patients. However, the only ones who seem to have improvements are the young ladies he helps. His controversial methods and their consequences lead him to leave Vienna and head to Paris. However, once there, he takes advantage of his unique methods to provide entertainment, which he is censured for by other doctors.
