Herb Conaway
Herbert C. Conaway Jr. (born January 30, 1963) is an American Democratic Party (United States), Democratic Party politician, who has served in the New Jersey General Assembly since 1998, where he represents the New Jersey's 7th legislative district, 7th Legislative District. Conaway served in the Assembly as the Majority Whip from 2014 to 2017, and was the Deputy Speaker from 2002 to 2005 and again starting in 2022. Early life Conaway was born at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, New Jersey, Trenton on January 30, 1963, to Eva Christine Conaway (née Godard), a nurse at the hospital, and Herb Conaway Sr., a history teacher at Bordentown Regional High School. New Jersey's 7th Legislative District is one of 40 in the New Jersey Legislature, covering the Burlington County municipalities of Beverly City, Bordentown City, Bordentown Township, Burlington City, Burlington Township, Cinnaminson Township, Delanco Township, Delran Township, Edgewater Park Township, Fieldsboro Borough, Florence Township, Moorestown Township, Mount Laurel Township, Palmyra Borough, Riverside Township, Riverton Borough and Willingboro Township as of the 2011 apportionment. The Politicker Network, or Politicker.com, was a national network of fifty state-based political websites operated by the '' New York Observer''. Origins The network had its origins in journalist Ben Smith's '' New York Observer'' blog, "''The Politicker,''" which focused on New York state politics. Launched in 2005, the original blog became "the most widely read" blog among political circles. Jack Conners
Jack Conners (born July 10, 1943) is an American Democratic Party politician who served in the New Jersey General Assembly, where he represented the 7th Legislative District from 1998 until his resignation in 2011. In the 1997 elections, Republican Diane Allen left the Assembly and ran for and won the Senate seat, while Democrats Herb Conaway and Conners were declared the winners in that year's Assembly race, after a recount which showed that Conaway was the top vote-getter and Conners winning the second seat by a margin of 74 votes. After eight months in office following his being sworn into office in January 1998, the courts threw out the results of the 1997 election due to problems with 160 uncounted ballots from a voting machine that affected the results for the second seat. Delanco Township is a township in Burlington County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 4,283, reflecting an increase of 1,046 (+32.3%) from the 3,237 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn declined by 79 (−2.4%) from the 3,316 counted in the 1990 Census.
