Henry W. Lander
Henry Wilson Lander (November 8, 1826 – January 14, 1904) was an American lawyer and politician. Born in Brighton, Maine, Lander moved to Juneau, Wisconsin in 1849. In 1852, he then moved to Beaver Dam, Wisconsin where he practiced law. He served as mayor of Beaver Dam. Lander also served in the Wisconsin State Senate in 1868 and 1869. He also served as Dodge County district attorney, United States court commissioner, and Wisconsin Circuit Court The Wisconsin circuit courts are the general trial courts in the state of Wisconsin. Juneau, Wisconsin
Juneau is a city in Dodge County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 2,658 at the 2020 census. It is the county seat of Dodge County. History Juneau was founded in 1845 by settlers Martin Rich and William Dennis. It became the county seat of Dodge County in 1846. The founders originally named the settlement "Victory" and then "Dodge Center," but finding these names in conflict with other places, the town changed its name to Juneau in 1852. Most sources say that Juneau was named after French-Canadian trader Solomon Juneau, the founder of Milwaukee and of Theresa, Wisconsin. Wisconsin Circuit Court
The Wisconsin circuit courts are the general trial courts in the state of Wisconsin. There are currently 69 circuits in the state, divided into 10 judicial administrative districts. Circuit court judges hear and decide both civil and criminal cases. Each of the 249 circuit court judges are elected and serve six-year terms. On March 6, 2020, Governor Tony Evers signed bipartisan legislation to create 12 new circuit court branches, with four seats to be added each year from 2021 to 2023.
