Henry Ford II High School is a public high school located in the Metropolitan Detroit region in the city of Sterling Heights, Michigan, United States. It is a part of Utica Community Schools. In 2004 Ford was recognized as a Michigan Blue Ribbon Exemplary School. History This school is named after Henry Ford II, the executive officer of the Ford Motor Co. He was also a member of the New Detroit, Inc., Detroit Renaissance and a former chairman of the National Alliance of Businessmen. Ground was broken for HFII in 1971. Ford II opened with students in the fall of 1973. Ford II's inaugural graduating class of 1975 attended Eisenhower High School (Michigan) before coming to Ford II. Sterling Heights is a city in Macomb County of the U.S. state of Michigan, and one of Detroit's core suburbs. As of the 2020 Census, the city had a total population of 134,346. Lakeside Mall is a Taubman-built super-regional full-line shopping mall located in the northeastern Metro Detroit suburb of Sterling Heights, Michigan. Craig Krenzel (born July 1, 1981) is a former American football quarterback. He played college football at Ohio State University. As the starting quarterback, he led the 2002 Ohio State Buckeyes football team to a national championship. Frank Randall "Randy" Farmer (born October 16, 1961) is an American game developer, co-creator with Chip Morningstar of one of the first graphical online games, 1985's ''Habitat''.
