Henry Cheng
Henry Cheng Kar-shun, GBM, GBS ( Chinese: 鄭家純; born 11 December 1946) is a Hong Kong billionaire property developer. Cheng is the elder son of Cheng Yu-tung who founded Hong Kong-listed New World Development of which Henry succeeded his father as chairman. Cheng is chairman of NWS Holdings, New World China Land, and New World Department Store China. He is also a Standing Committee Member of the Eleventh Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference. In the 2012 Chief Executive election in Hong Kong, Cheng initially supported Henry Tang but switched to support the eventual winner, Leung Chun-ying. Henry Tang Ying-yen (; born 6 September 1952) is a Hong Kong politician who served as the Chief Secretary of Hong Kong between 2007 and 2011. He held the position of Financial Secretary from 2003 to 2007. In 2012, he lost the Hong Kong Chief Executive Election to Leung Chun-ying. Hong Kong Order Of Precedence
The Hong Kong order of precedence is a nominal and symbolic hierarchy of important positions within the Government of Hong Kong. Administered by the government's Protocol Division, the hierarchy does not determine the order of succession for the office of Chief Executive, which is instead specified by the Basic Law of Hong Kong. As a special administrative region of the People's Republic of China, Hong Kong theoretically maintains autonomy on all affairs other than defence and foreign relations. Reflecting that status, the order of precedence does not include state and party leaders of the Central People's Government. Mak Chai-kwong GBS, JP (, born 16 June 1950) is a Hong Kong civil engineer and civil servant. He served as Permanent Secretary for Development (Works) from 2006 to 2010. In 2012, he was appointed as Secretary for Development in the inaugural cabinet of C.Y. Leung, but resigned 12 days later in response of allegations of corruption in the 1980s, making him the shortest-serving cabinet minister in the history of Hong Kong. He was eventually acquitted in 2016. Background Mak studied in St. Joan of Arc Secondary School in Hong Kong. In 1973, Mak graduated from University of Hong Kong with a degree in civil engineering.
