Henry Barnes-Lawrence
Henry Frederick Barnes-Lawrence (1815– 1896) was an Anglican clergyman, notable as the ornithologist who founded the Association for the Protection of Sea-Birds and with others (Francis Orpen Morris; William Thomson, Archbishop of York; and Christopher Sykes (MP), Christopher Sykes, MP) generated the pressure which led to the Sea Birds Preservation Act 1869, 1869 Sea Birds Preservation Act. The Reverend is an style (manner of address), honorific style most often placed before the names of Christian clergy and Minister of religion, ministers. There are sometimes differences in the way the style is used in different countries and church traditions.
