Henri Barda is a French classical pianist born in Cairo. Biography A student of Polish pianist Ignace Tiegerman, Henri Barda worked in Paris with Lazare Lévy, then entered the Conservatoire de Paris, where he obtained the first prize in piano and chamber music, with the friendship and advice of Joseph Benvenuti, and Jean Hubeau. He then entered the Juilliard School in New York for four years, where he was taught by Carlos Buhler, Beveridge Webster and Paul Makanovitsky, on "Bach Cantatas Website" perfecting his training by attending classes in writing and pedagogy. The diploma he received was accompanied by an exceptional distinction. Calliope (record Label)
Calliope is a French classical record label originally based in Compiègne. It was founded in 1972 by Jacques Le Calvé, a record shop owner, upon the encouragement of Erato Records producer Michel Garcin. The label was named after Calliope, the muse of epic poetry and mother of Orpheus, and not the calliope organ. Its artists included the organists André Isoir and Louis Thiry and Jean-Claude Casadesus with the Orchestre de Lille. Jong Hwa Park () is a South Korean pianist. He was prized at the 1995 Queen Elisabeth Competition (5th) and the 1996 Concorso Busoni (4th) before being awarded the 1998 Paloma O'Shea Santander International Piano Competition's 2nd prize. Early life and education Park was born on September 22, 1974. When he was a boy, Park attended Preparatory School of Tokyo Music College in Japan and then moved to the United States to attend Preparatory School of New England Conservatory. He became a full scholar of the New England Conservatory in 1992 and spend studying piano under guidance from Russell Sherman.
