Henning Munk Jensen
Henning Munk Jensen (born 12 January 1947) is a Danish former footballer who played as a defender. He most prominently played professionally for Dutch team PSV Eindhoven, as well as 392 games for AaB in Denmark during the 1960s. He was named 1968 and 1975 Danish Football Player of the Year, and played a record-setting 62 matches for the Denmark national team from 1966 to 1978, 24 of these as team captain. He is the brother-in-law of Danish international Allan Michaelsen, and thus the uncle of Danish international Jan Michaelsen. Club career Munk Jensen started his career in the youth teams of Aalborg clubs Aalborg Chang and Aalborg FC, before moving to Aalborg BK (AaB). He started his footballing career as a right winger, but eventually settled as a tall, strong, and fast central defender. Tønder
Tønder (; german: Tondern ) is a town in the Region of Southern Denmark. With a population of 7,505 (as of 1 January 2022), it is the main town and the administrative seat of the Tønder Municipality. History The first mention of Tønder might have been in the mid-12th century, when the Arab geographer Muhammad al-Idrisi mentioned the landmark ''Tu(r)ndira'', which might have been a reference to either Tønder, or the nearby town of Møgeltønder. Jan Michaelsen
Jan Munk Michaelsen (born 28 November 1970) is a former Danish footballer and currently is the head of coaching at Nykøbing FC. He made 20 international appearances, scored one goal for the Danish national team. He is the son of former Danish footballer, the late Allan Michaelsen. Career Starting his career in small Danish clubs, his first major club was AB, where he played 170 matches. He moved on to the Greek club Panathinaikos, for whom he played 100 matches, including numerous appearances in the Champions League. In July 2004, after winning The Double in Greece, he moved to HamKam. From January 2009, Michaelsen was the head coach for F.C. Copenhagen's 2. Division team. Poul Petersen (footballer)
Poul Eyvind Petersen (11 April 1921 – 31 May 1997) was a Danish amateur football player and manager. During his career he played for AB, and earned 34 caps for the Denmark national football team from 1946 to 1952. He won a bronze medal in football at the 1948 Summer Olympics, and also participated four years later in the 1952 Olympics. He was manager of the national team from 1962 to 1966. Biography Poul Petersen started his career as an attacker, and was one of legendary centre forward Carl "Skoma'r" Hansen's best students. Petersen was a quick player, with great technique and a fierce shot. Torben Boye
Torben Boye (born 2 May 1966) is a Danish former professional football (soccer) player, who played his entire career for Danish Superliga club Aalborg Boldspilklub (AaB). Boye has set a number of records for the club, including most played games, as he played 560 matches for AaB. He debuted for AaB as a midfielder in 1984, and following a couple of seasons as a right back he ended in the centre back position. He stopped at the top level following the Danish Superliga 2001-02 season . Boye joined AaB in the Danish 3rd Division, and he saw the club rise through the ranks of Danish football, including two Danish football championships in the 1995 and 1999 seasons. The 2nd Division ( da, Danmarksturneringens 2. division or Herre-DM 2. division) is a semi-professional association football league for men and the third division in Denmark. It is organised by the Divisionsforeningen on behalf of the Danish Football Association (Danish FA; DBU) as part of the nation-wide Danmarksturneringen i fodbold (Herre-DM) and is positioned between the second-tier 1st Division and the fourth-tier Danish 3rd Division in the Danish football league system. Bent Schmidt-Hansen (27 November 1946 – 1 July 2013) was a Danish professional football winger who played for PSV Eindhoven during an injury-shortened career. The Danish Cup ( da, Landspokalturneringen; often referred to as Pokalen) is the official "knockout" cup competition in Danish football, run by the Danish Football Association. The cup has been contested annually since 1955. The winner will qualify for the UEFA Europa League tournament the following year, where they (as of the 2009–10 season) will enter in the third qualifying round.
