Henk Groener
Hendrikus Franciscus Groener, commonly known as Henk Groener (born 29 September 1960) is a Dutch handball coach, and former handball player. He is the current head coach of Borussia Dortmund Handball, since November 2022. Career He played 208 games with the Netherlands men's national handball team, Dutch national team, scoring 519 goals. From 2002 to 2006 he coached the Dutch national men's team, and since 2009 he has coached the Netherlands women's national handball team, Dutch women's team. With this team he qualified for the 2011 World Women's Handball Championship, 2011, 2013 World Women's Handball Championship, 2013 and 2015 World Women's Handball Championships. The Dutch team also qualified for the Handball at the 2016 Summer Olympics – Women's tournament, 2016 Olympic Games where they finished 4th. After this tournament, Groener left the team. Leersum
Leersum is a town in the municipality of Utrechtse Heuvelrug in the Dutch province of Utrecht. It lies about 7 km (4.3 mi) east of Doorn and 9 km (5.5 mi) west of Veenendaal. 2011 World Women's Handball Championship
The 2011 World Women's Handball Championship was the 20th edition of the international championship tournament in women's Team sport handball that is governed by the International Handball Federation (IHF). Brazil hosted the event from 2–18 December 2011. On 18 December 2011, Norway women's national handball team, Norway successfully contested France women's national handball team, France 32–24 in the World Women's Handball Championship#final, final. Norway was the second team to achieve a triple title cache all in the same tournament by winning the World Championship, European Championship and Olympic Games titles. The women's tournament of Handball at the 2016 Summer Olympics at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, began on 6 August and ended on 20 August 2016. Games were played at the Future Arena.
