Hendrie Krüzen
Hendrik "Hendrie" Krüzen (born 24 November 1964) is a Dutch former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He is the assistant manager of Heracles Almelo. Club career Krüzen was born in Almelo, Overijssel. He made his senior debuts at only 16, with hometown's Heracles Almelo. After two solid years with FC Den Bosch, scoring in double figures, he signed with Eredivisie giants PSV Eindhoven, appearing rarely as the club won the double in the 1988–89 season, and also being loaned to his previous team. Krüzen spent the following five years in neighbouring Belgium, representing K.V. Kortrijk, R.F.C. de Liège and K.S.V. Waregem. After the latter's relegation from the top flight, he returned to his country, joining first professional club Heracles, and moving to AZ Alkmaar in January 1996. Almelo
Almelo () is a municipality and a city in the eastern Netherlands. The main population centres in the town are Aadorp, Almelo, Mariaparochie, and Bornerbroek. Almelo has about 72,000 inhabitants in the middle of the rolling countryside of Twente, with the industrial centres of Enschede and Hengelo as close neighbours but also with tourist towns like Ootmarsum, Delden and Markelo only a bicycle ride away. Almelo received city rights in 1394. Within the city limits lies the castle of the Counts of Almelo. The 1988 UEFA European Football Championship final tournament was held in West Germany from 10 to 25 June 1988. Marinus Jacobus Hendricus Michels (; 9 February 1928 – 3 March 2005) was a Dutch football player and coach. He played his entire career for AFC Ajax, which he later managed, and played for and later managed the Netherlands national team for four spells. Eerste Divisie
The Eerste Divisie (, en, First Division) is the second-highest tier of football in the Netherlands. It is linked with the top-level Eredivisie and with the third-level Tweede Divisie via promotion/relegation systems. It is also known as the Keuken Kampioen Divisie due to sponsorship, while previously it was known as Jupiler League for the same reason. History The Eerste Divisie consists of 20 clubs, who play each other in a double round-robin league, with each club playing the other club home and away. The Belgian Pro League,(officially the Jupiler Pro League due to sponsorship reasons with Jupiler), is the top league competition for association football clubs in Belgium. Contested by 18 clubs since the 2020–21 season and reduced to 16 teams from the 2023–24 season onwards, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Challenger Pro League.
