Hemlal Bhattrai
Hemlal Bhattrai is a Bhutanese international footballer who plays for Thimphu City in the Bhutan A-Division. He made his first appearance for the Bhutan national football team in 2013. Playing career Club Bhattrai has played his whole career to date for Thimphu City, finishing runner-up in the A-Division in 2012, 2013 and 2014. In each of the three seasons that Bhattrai has been playing for Thimpu City, they have qualified for the Bhutan National League competition, but have yet to finish higher than mid table. International Bhattrai first international cap received his first international cap for Bhutan the 2-8 loss to the Maldives in the 2013 SAFF Championship. He came on as a substitute in the game against the Maldives after Leki Dukpa was sent off for fouling a Maldivian player outside of his box. Thimphu

2013 SAFF Championship
The 2013 South Asian Football Federation Championship, commonly referred to as 2013 SAFF Championship, was the 10th SAFF Championship for men's national football teams organized by the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF). The tournament took place from 31 August to 11 September 2013, and was hosted by Nepal for the second time, with the previous being in 1997. Host selection Nepal were selected as hosts in September 2012 during the 2012 SAFF Women's Championship in Sri Lanka. Broadcasting The tournament was broadcast live in Nepal on Kantipur Television Network, Tolo TV in Afghanistan and Television Maldives in Maldives. Every match was broadcast live on YouTube. The Bhutan Premier League, currently known as the Bank of Bhutan Premier League due to sponsorship reasons, is the men's highest division of professional football in Bhutan. It also provides Bhutan's entrant for continental competition, the AFC Cup. Format The Bhutan Premier League operates as the highest level of football in Bhutan. Competing teams in the league play each other twice on a home and away basis. Previously, when the A-Division was the country's top league, all matches were played at Changlimithang, the country's national stadium, making home and away distinctions essentially moot. Whilst the Thimphu-based teams still play their matches at that ground, the regional teams maintain their own stadiums, so that genuine home and away fixtures now take place.
